Smart optimisation of power quality

OTSOSMART is a Smart Power Factor Correction Unit that corrects the power factor to the desired value in real time by linearly monitoring the load profile. The size of the OTSOSMART device is determined based on the power quality measurement. The same measurement is also used to determine the condition of the electricity network (diagonal load, etc.) and the necessary proposals for measures.

OTSOSMART Functions and Device Information

Reactive power

OTSOSMART corrects the power factor to the desired amount (factory setting 0.99), eliminating both inductive and capacitive reactive power (reactive power intake and delivery) as needed. Any reactive power fees will be reset.

electrical load

The device has an additional function that effectively corrects unbalanced load from the network side:

Harmonics caused by oblique loads are reduced

The current to the neutral conductor caused by the electrical load is almost completely eliminated

Remote monitoring

OTSOSMART measures and records the most important electrical parameters, which can be visually viewed in the OTSOSMART monitoring portal immediately after the device is commissioned.

Installation / maintenance

OTSOSMART is installed in parallel to the main switchboard and does not require a power outage. The device is almost maintenance-free. The filter of the equipment must be cleaned 1-2 times a year (every 6 months in a dusty center). The procedure can be carried out by an authorised electrical professional.
