Efficient filtering of harmonics

OtsoPro, installed in the main switchboard, corrects the internal situation of the property as follows:

  • Reduces the harmonic current along the entire main rail
  • reduces distortion current going to the transformer
  • Reduces the overall current distortion of the outputs supplied through the main control panel
  • Reduces grid load and warming
  • because the harmonic currents are generated inside the property and pass through the main switchboard
    transformer, the filter compensates them before they reach the transformer and
    network.

An active filter installed in the main switchboard is a technically sufficient solution when

  • The goal is to reduce the total THDi at the point of entry
  • Want to protect the transformer
  • The aim is to reduce the crack load of the entire property's network

OTSOPRO Functions and Device Information

Reactive power

OTSOPRO corrects the power factor to the desired size (factory setting 0.99), removing both inductive and capacitive reactive power (reactive power intake and delivery) as needed. Any reactive power fees will be reset.

Oblique load

The device has an additional function that effectively corrects unbalanced load from the network side
Harmonics caused by oblique loads are reduced
The current to the neutral conductor caused by the electrical load is almost completely eliminated

Remote monitoring

OTSOPRO measures and records the most significant electrical parameters, which can be visually viewed in the OTSOSMART monitoring portal immediately after the device is commissioned.

Installation / maintenance

OTSOPRO is installed in parallel to the main switchboard and does not require a power outage. The device is almost maintenance-free. The filter of the equipment must be cleaned 1-2 times a year (every 6 months in a dusty center). The procedure can be carried out by an authorised electrical professional.
